Luna & Omi, her new clothing line, is all about life essentials that grow with you, inspire you to be the best version of yourself, and radiate positivity into the universe. According to Naomi, Luna & Omi is a project that was brought to life as part of her personal journey to mental health and self-care. Her pieces are thoughtfully designed to feel like a warm hug to comfort you during the bad times and make you shine through the good times!
Luna & Omi produces loungewears, home essentials, and even pet bandanas for our furry babies. Recently, they have partnered with Pawssion Project and 10% of the proceeds were donated to them.
Behind this talented young lady and her strong brand, Naomi said she had been dealing with anxiety and depression for more than five years now. She shared with us how more difficult it was for her when the pandemic started.

"I'm sure it wasn't easy for any of us because we're at home, and there were a lot of adjustments at work and in our lifestyle. Then my partner and I parted ways, and a month after, my 17-year old dog passed away. It was really hard for me. I was broken and depressed to the point that I couldn't function at all"

While battling anxiety and depression, she said that one day she got inspired to make a loungewear clothing line and design something that feels like a warm hug that comforts you and makes you feel good. It’s something you can actually wear at home and outdoors. This brand is created with the belief that a healthy outside always starts from the inside.
This passion project wants to promote self-care to every woman out there who feels lonely or going through a rough time. Naomi also intends to advocate mental health awareness to those who don’t have any idea about it.

"This brand is for strong, confident, and independent women/girls who want to be the best version of themselves and who's not afraid of challenges!" - Naomi Ng.

Naomi said that the biggest challenge she encountered when creating Luna & Omi was making adjustments when the pandemic started. It was stressful for her at first because she was also managing her custom-made suit business, Ng Naomi Designs. It’s when they didn’t have much events compared to before and was battling with her mental health issues. Despite the challenges, she’s very grateful for her support system- God, family, close friends, and mentors. They encouraged her to keep doing the things she loves and keep going when things are tough. She also attests that Luna and Omi si doing great now. At first, She thought that starting a business during the pandemic would be risky, but she’s glad that it turned out well!
Naomi proves that what you wear could actually affect your mood. Luna & Omi is more than just a clothing line. It’s a new form of self-care.
We definitely have a lot to learn from this young designer. When asked what message she wants to give to women who aspire to start a business or a passion project, she said

"Always be patient and don't rush anything because the best is yet to come! The struggle you're in today is developing the strength you need tomorrow. Just because something isn't happening for you right now, it doesn't mean it never will! Let your dreams be bigger than your fears, your actions louder than your words, and your faith stronger than your feelings. And don't let anyone bring you down. Don't be discouraged by the criticisms you get. Instead of giving yourself a reason why you can't, always give yourself a reason why YOU CAN."
